SmartFab will sign your NDA, or you can use our mutual template. Your files, drawings, BOMs, and specifications are treated as confidential.
Most projects we manufacture through SmartFab do not require an NDA at the RFQ stage — we share only what the assigned facility in our network needs to quote your job, and every facility is bound by its own confidentiality obligations.
If your project requires an executed NDA before files change hands, we're happy to sign yours, or you can use the mutual template below as a starting point.

Three things worth knowing about NDAs in manufacturing sourcing
Most quotes don't require one
For routine quotes, the data needed (qty, basic specs) usually isn't sensitive enough to need an NDA. We'll flag projects where one makes sense.
We'll sign yours
If your legal team has a standard mutual NDA, send it over. We can usually turn signatures around in a day.
ITAR is different
ITAR / export-controlled projects need more than an NDA. Contact us directly and we'll handle your project through an ITAR-registered facility in our network on a secure path.
